Smart dimming glass is a specialized optoelectronic glass that integrates PDLC liquid crystal technology with laminated glass manufacturing processes. By sandwiching a liquid crystal dimming film between two layers of glass and using special techniques such as one-step vacuum high-temperature molding to bond them together, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules can be precisely controlled by switching the electric current on and off, enabling an instantaneous transition between “transparent” and “opaque.” This glass combines the protective performance of safety glass with the ease of operation typical of smart devices.
